Last summer was particularly
challenging for hay fever sufferers across the UK. With consistently high
pollen counts, one in four adults have experienced symptoms such as a runny
nose, itchy eyes, sneezing, wheezing, and headaches during the warmer months.
Experts warn that summer 2025 could be even more severe, as the climate crisis
is expected to extend hay fever seasons. Additionally, those living in urban
areas with higher pollution levels may face exacerbated symptoms.
